I called yesterday just out of curiosity and my 5/23 purchase went pending 6/9/16 and is still pending.
Just for giggles I asked about my last purchase that was sent off the first week of July, it went pending 7/18. The july one is interesting in that I'm sure it's in the middle of everyone else's last minute purchases and would have thought it would have taken longer then 2 weeks to go pending. ETA: fixed dates |

Just did some recalculating: Anybody putting their Forms 1/4 in Tomorrow will be APPROVED in early November.
This uses a 250 Base Day Wait. I do believe I'll have to adjust the number upwards within a week.

A whole bunch of people submitted to beat 41F and there was probably a huge drop in submissions after July. Hopefully they catch up on processing times after they get through the pre- 41F stuff. |

What's really retarded is that they do everything one at a time. I had three eform 1s all pending on different days but within a six week period. When they got to my first one, if they had of checked to see if I had any others in the pipeline, they could have done all three at the same time. Seems to me that would streamline things and cut down on a ton of work.
Not to mention two of those form 1s were for cans that got delayed because they didn't recognize the manufacturer. That's fucked up. The guy who sends in a form 1 is the manufacturer. Me.

I finally broke down and called in to check on a status of a paper Form 4 to a trust, check cashed 7/9/16. I called this morning, 2/28/17, and was told that the examiners are: 1) currently approving Form 4s received in May 2016; 2) are beyond the 8 month review currently; and 3) June / July receipts are looking closer to 10 month approval times.

It took a while for the Form 3 to come back to transfer to my dealer, so I'm only really counting from the ATF check cashing or pending date. I didn't order these two through Silencer Shop or one of the usual vendors; I ordered it from my LGS's webstore. They didn't even get the Form 3 approved and cans delivered to the store until May 7 2016...I happened to be there when the cans were delivered, and filled out the form 4s then. So while you can count the form 3 time if you want, I'm only counting the form 4 time. Between check being cashed (27th) and approval is 267 days. If you go by the date it went pending, it was 268 days (it went pending May 26th 2016)
