I have an older Pietta 1851 Navy that needs a couple of new parts...The Pietta kits offered  by Cabelas will not work...anybody got any idea where to find such parts?

What is it you need?  I've order generic parts such as the cylinder stop and hand fitted them to my Pietta.

I need the hand and spring. the one that came with the Pietta repair kit would require quite a bit of reshaping to work.

Revolvers are not glocks, they are not plug and play.  Nearly all replacement parts will be slightly oversized to allow for hand fitting.

I know this...my hand gun collection is mostly revolvers.   but I do need a part that is fairly close to the broken one.
