Pietta reproduction of a Colt 1862 Pocket Police in .36 Caliber.

Never owned a black powder before. Paid $75 for it. Timing is good along with the bore. No rust what so ever.... previous owner treated it very well. Used it in Cowboy Action Shoots for a while to the point that the blueing has worn off. Looks nicer in my opinion. Gives it a nice antique look. Only thing I need to do is age that brass..... It needs to be darker and less shiny.

EDIT

Page five is all mine!

Just curious, how much did you pay for that Tulle? I'm building one, cost me $600 for the kit but got nice locks and had the wood carved out for the barrel and lock. I think its a real sharp design.

1275 is what it cost me, which is about right given that its a 44inch barrel.  Ive seen Centermark's and others with short barrels sell used for 6-800.  Its real hard to find ones with the proper length barrels, since Centermark started with the 36 inch barrels way back, everyone thinks that is the proper length.

Just got this from my grandfather. It was built by my mother and father nearly 30 years ago.
It is a .45 Caliber Connecticut Valley Arms.

Going to work on getting it cleaned and looking perdy, and possibly giving it a go at the range after I have a gunsmith check it out. Don't know when it had last been fired, but guessing at least 20 years ago when my father was still alive.
