I paid $600 for mine, but last ones I seen they were 8-900. They were very few made, less than the big brother Hakim.

Yeah, $900+ now. Last one I saw at a gun show was walking around with a sign marked "For Sale $1200 OBO". He didn't leave with it, so someone made him an offer he'd take.

I paid $650 for mine, but that was many years ago. Total production of the Rasheed was something like 8000, with about half(?) of that being imported into the US, but not all of those were complete rifles.

Interestingly enough, the Egyptians apparently sold the tooling to the Iraqis at some point, and Iraqi ones marked "Baghdad" show up from time to time there.

I sold one a few months ago for $900. The better the condition and the more complete the more they'll bring. Most of the time the wires on the screws are either broken or missing.

Yep, bought one off EE a few years ago with a missing mag for $425. When I received it I found the retaining spring for the gas valve was missing. It was useless. It took a year but I finally got a mag for $100 and was able to get a spring for $35

There is one guy on gunbroker that sells parts, he is about the only source i know of. Can't think of his name though.

Yeah I needed the gas plug spring thing for my rifle too when I bought it, wasn't cheap, but I needed it.
