[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Just picked up a Chinese Sks

Overpaid but oh well. Has Russian rear sight Russian bolt with lightning cut . Bolt and rear cover don't match the rest of the guns s/n. It's a letter with 4 numbers serial# . Not sure how to date it though. Stock is nicked up bad but should be able to clean it up.

Did it come with all the accessories? Bayonet, cleaning kit, sling, etc?

Came with the bayo and cleaning rod . I'll grab pics. I've tear detachable 30 rnd mags are worthless on these so I might keep it as is and shoot it

If you can find a 20 round Chinese Fixed Mag, at a reasonable price, buy one.

Mine works flawlessly.

Probably a 1959/1960 if a letter and number serial as you say. Pics would help. Posted below is a great source for Chinese SKS info from SKS Files if you are wanting to know more.
