Pretty rare Finn roll mark since the "PUOLUSTUSLAITOS", aka "Defense Department", was only used for about 2 months before the boxed "SA" was adopted to replace it.  Even neater is the fact that it is "41" marked meaning it was captured in 1941 during the Continuation War.   Sure does tell a story...cantured in 1941, sent to a depot for rework in 1942 during the short period PL mark was in effect.

These have sold as high as $650 lately, but I could never justify the crazy premium for a simple rollmark. So when I saw this low hanging fruit on GunBroker I decided to pounce. :)  The cherry on top was that the seller admitted he made a mistake in saying it is not import marked and threw in free shipping.

At one time I had 40 Mosins.  It was a good collection.  I would have loved to have that one.
