They will probably sell. Oh, I know they will that's the fucked up part Yeah, lots of guys with more money than brains which has driven 98k prices absolutely nuts.... That first one for $599 is a pretty rare swp code.... |
LOL....I liked the $800.00 one with the two wrist cross-bolts holding it together.
Who the hell cobbled that shit together anyway? Did you notice the YC stock on the walnut stocked one he was bragging-up? Put down the pipe breathless round-boy. Me suspects you have been smoking too much "classic" crack. |
I could see those selling for what they ask.
There are new collectors out there that will pay just to have an example.....like those that buy Mitchell's crap. |
Got the email the other day so started to watch the video. Once I noticed theyre releasing them in small numbers at a time to drum up buyers and cheapest starts at $600, I turned video off
I watched the whole thing and when he got to that last rifle, a BYF 43, with the dual eagles, I just couldn't do anything more than wonder if they collaborated with nutnfancy on their opinions.
I wonder how badly they bubba fuck them with "desired options".
I stopped watching after the first one was a RC with peened eagles for $600. Heard enough to determine I wasn't getting a K98 from Classic.
Heh similar thread on Gunboards caused quite a stir there. Totally drama-fest including bimbos under Vics protection heh.
Classic has been doing the slimy used car dealer lie tactics for years. This is nothing new. At one point they had their half truth tactics wrapped in religion. Week ago I picked up nice 1940 code 42 bolt mismatched bring back k98k for $575 shipped..... |
Every single small batch has sold out within a day so far. People are paying for it.
Spanish 1916s for $280 Swedish M38s for $750-900 Yugo M48s for $250 Somebody wants them bad enough... |

View Quote I understand there is a big resurgence of interest in C&Rs in CA since darn near everything EBR related has been severely restricted. Maybe that is who is buying them. I would hope those from the free-states have more sense. |
No thank you! I'll pass. I bought one years ago from them. A byf 43 to be exact. I immediately turned around and sold it. No as described.
Someone keep track of how fast they sell.
I'm calling 4 hours. |
That's... insane.
I feel great about my $425 bolt-mismatch now, though... |

Tall stories and sense of urgency sells with certain types. Classic is not the only one with these tactics. The Mosin Crate in many ways model their tactics after Classic only with lot better pricing on Crates end since they need to keep building their customer base. |

Imagine the bullshit they would have spun on those yugo rework gew 98s that J&G had last year, Lol
Classic nonsense |

Second batch $700-$1300 haha I fast forwarded through 18 minutes of bullshit just to get the 15 second of actual info BNZ 42 is going for $1300.....Tubby says "they cannot replace them" at this price.....well looky here just one of many that sold on GB for 50% of their price:http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=562965737 Here's another that went without a bidder at almost $1000 less http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=565168785 |

HOLY FUCK....
Weimar markings make it worth more......... "BCD is one of the more desirable"..... That's what he stated about that 999.99 pos BYF. |
I've got a BCD Russian capture I paid $300 for several years ago. it is in excellent (Russian refurb) condition. Are they really worth $1000 plus now? I bought one of the Swiss Lugers and I think they were priced more than fair. These seem high, but I guess not. They are selling out fast each day. |
How do we feel about their pricing on K31s and K11s? Are they good to go for those?
Great question Cobb. Last year I picked up a K31 from Gander Mtn for $130 less than the Classic price at the time and "I" hand-picked my purchase.
I've been lusting after one of the Finn Mosins's for months but I've held off, it may be to my detriment but who can say. Hking |
Hah final batch has a doozy......Yugo refurb K98 for $1600!!!! Tubby calls it very rare and valueable hahahah |

Wow, someone needs to call the BBB on this, cause they are fucking people right to the bank |

Mitchells Mausers glossy ads in the gun rags has nothing on the "round man" from Classic.
Classic is sacrificing any creditably that they once had for quick riches now and replacing it with Infamy forever..
Because how else are you going to conquer the Zombie hoards when your leaving California. Especially now that they outlawed everything but a bolt or lever action.

quoted reply from another board regarding the sale of these rifles:
It is not crazy, it is good business sense.
Others have paid storage for years holding on to these items. Classic bring them to the market at top dollar and sell out in hours. That is called a good business plan. Lots of sour grapes from those not brave enough or clever enough to do it themselves. View Quote Brave enough, or clever enough........ what a freakin joke. |

Serious question as I know nothing about this seller or their history. Are they faking markings and stampings to increase "rarity"?

He uses the ol rope-a-dope to oversell his product and apparently, it's working. Nothing wrong here other than deceiving marketing practices and overhyped product. |
