About to order a crate from Aim to feed some Mosins. Is there any real difference between these? Is see the Romanian  is a bit heavier.

I would get the factory 188 russian surp from Sportsmans Guide unless AIM has 188.

Not familiar with that and do not see it on their web site. Do you have a link I could use?

SG could have Russian or Bulgarian.  I've gotten both from them.  Their picture def shows Russian but you can't rely on that.  Hell, I ordered what they called a "Russian" AK bayonet and it was Bulgarian.  

A year or two ago I ordered what they called "genuine military surplus M855".  What I got was the regular XM855 available at any Walmart (at the time ).  I complained and they actually took it back despite their no return policy on ammo.

whoa!!  sportsman's guide said they were selling 188 ammo....but they shipped factory 60!  I've NEVER HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING BEFORE

SG gets mixed lots in. Factory 188 or Factory 60 makes no difference

I ordered a crate of Romanian and Bulgarian. I already have some Russian.

It all goes bang and is corrosive. Accuracy will vary between rifles and lots but it'll all do what it was made for. Get it cheap and stack it deep.

This.  As long as it's light ball I'll buy Romanian, Russian or Bulgarian without a second thought if the price is right
