Okay, this year I'm finally getting an M1 garand  Since it sounds like they're about running out.

 So, going to join the Garand collectors assc then send off all ym requirements....

Question:    Can I order more thanone Garand?  I was thinking of a field grade and a service grade.  I couldn't find it on their website or anywhere else from a google search.

 Looking forward to it!  Always wanted a Garand and didn't want to pay scalper prices, plus the novelty of getting one from the .gov

I plan on taking a road trip to the Anniston store. I emailed to ask a few questions and right now there are no service grades in the store. They told me to call closer to the time I plan to go

You can order 12 per year.  They haven't really had any service grade rifles in the store for a couple of years, except for the occasional Winchester (very occasional).  It does seem that they are finally catching up on orders, so maybe we will start to see SG's on the shelf this year!

I always wanted to go to their stores.....sadly it's about a day and a half one way of driving

 I'm so excited I can hardly wait! I've been putting it off for years and I'll finally get a Garand.  

been saving the ammo  Lol, I have four, 192 round tins of ammo on en-bloc clips that I've gotten for good prices at the gunshow.
