I saw this yugo 24/47 and just had to buy it. thing looks completely unissued. Bore is a mirror. Has a few spots of cleaned up pitting on the bolt but aside from that it is mint. This is my first mauser. It came with all things shown & a soft case, 40 rds of ppu ammo and 140 brass empty in case I want to reload all for $250. How did I do? I don't care if I over paid, I'm much happier with this than the money. I just thought I'd share

" this will be my only one ".... 41.6 grains of IMR 4064 (a 3.1cc Lee dipper full), Speer 200 grain soft points and that PPU brass will make for a nice mild load that shoots pretty close to point of aim at 100 yards. And a lot cheaper than buying new. |

You did well. I have one and it shoots good. The Romanian surplus ammo is pretty good if you don't reload. It runs about 53 cents a round right now which isn't too bad, but it sure isn't $63.00 a crate any more.
