did aim send you a shipping notification?  I've never ordered from them before but I had to call them the other day to fix a FFL problem and the guy I spoke to said it was going to ship on Wed but I didn't ask him.  I also wondered how many they had in stock, should have asked him that too.

Cool. I've never seen a roll mark like that.

Mine should be here soon.

I got mine today.  First impressions, it's a lot smaller that I had thought it would be.  I guess it's less robust than I thought, I don't know why I thought it would be bigger.  Cool gun, I almost paid $300 with shipping and transfer fees off of gunbroker a few times, now I'm definitely glad that I didn't.  I got it for $200 shipped and my FFL was awesome and didn't charge me a transfer fee.  I'm looking forward to shooting it and then it will probably be a conversation piece.  I'm definitely glad to have it as part of my collection.  I'm very happy with the import mark, the location and size.  I can't read it without a magnifying glass and I'm only 38 and have pretty good eyes.  Overall it's cool and I like the history behind it.

So mine was delivered today and apparently signed for by me.
This is news to me because I did not sign for anything today.
It also says "Left At:Residential"
I hope that someone didn't sign for me and steal it (like the UPS driver or neighbor).
I hope that they left it.
I hope they left it out of the rain.

Yeah it's super easy to override "adult signature required". Post a picture of where you find it.

They are beautiful!!!!

1927 CCCP Marked,

I understand the "square with the line" through it means arsenal rebuilt, otherwise they almost seem unissued!

Gorgeous!!! Great group brought in by AIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was hoping I'd get that CCCP roll mark.

Mine's a 1929 Tula. When did the mark change? 1928?

I was hoping for that too, I would have paid a little extra for it.  I'm still very happy with the one I got and am considering buying another if they still have them.  At the rate they've gone up in value even though the days of $100 price tags are gone, $200 isn't too bad to have one to sell down the road.

Just picked mine up today, I got one of the last ones, they went out of stock right after I ordered it.

1928 with the CCCP marking, and wood grips.  It's in nice shape, except for one big scratch near the loading gate.  The bore looks ok.  Holster is dated 1976.

eta:Once I cleaned it, the bore has some pitting, but it shows sharp rifling, and is not dark.  I found a box of ammo at Cabellas, hopefully I'll get to the range tomorrow.

Now to try and find some ammo locally, while I wait for my package from Wiedners.

Ipotato photos.

Just to add to what others have written, I got mine in a few weeks ago, and it's in great shape.  Looks about brand new.

There's really no import marking that I see at all save the SN in front of the cylinder, and a caliber stamp under the barrel.

I got one of the 1928 CCCR ones as well, so I lucked out there.

I'll shoot it today at the range and see how it does.  It has a nice SA pull, but yes, the DA pull is like a finger workout machine.

As ever, very pleased with AIM and their products.
