Been trying to talk myself into an Enfield or Webley, but I know there are lots of great looking wheel guns out there,
just curious as to what the guys on this part of the board can produce

The price on some of the bobbed hammer Enfields is still very tempting, I just wish the ammo was more readily available

I love the old Harrington & Richardson and Iver Johnson top break revolvers...  I've got a bunch of them, mostly in .32 S&W, but also a couple in .32 S&W Long and a couple in .38 S&W.

You can find them on the auction sites and they are virtually all C&R eligible as most of them were made prior to 1940.  I've been able to pick up some pretty nice ones for nice prices, often under $100.  You have to watch out for some of the earlier ones as they are designed for black powder loads and may not hold up too well to firing modern smokeless ammo.  I load .32 S&W with Hodgdon 777 for those.  It is smoky and corrosive, but it is safe to use in black powder cartridge guns.  It is also possible to work up reduced power loads using IMR Trail Boss which is smokeless and non-corrosive and even a few other powders.  Alliant Red Dot, for example is a good choice for some "cowboy" level loads.

Most of these are antiques but some were made between 1898 and 1964
Here are 2 Merwin & Hulberts. Unusual guns made in the 1880s Top one is  spur trigger single action. Bottom one is a DA and the hammer spur folds down for pocket carry. These guns are held together via a vacuum seal and twist apart to open.

Left is an Ulster Bulldog, Right is a Dutch 9.8 Nagant, note the safety lever on the Nagant, it locks the front of the cylinder and prevents cocking the hammer

Colt New Service Nickel 38-40 with bunkhouse engraving

Was told it belonged to a Texas lawman at one point in its life.

2 IJs from the 19th century

Here is a S&W Model 2 38 SA 2nd Version

Forehand & Wadsworth 38 Bulldog

Group shot of my suicide specials, the 2 derringers and the 2 NAA 22 Mags are modern

S&W New Departure made 1901 and NAA 22 Mag

4" Python made in 1961.

Colt 1917

Colt SAA made in 1903 Colt 1877 Lightning made in 1881

S&W Model 1 third version and Model 2 second version, both from 1877

Love the Bulldogs and the Nagant
Goes without saying, the Python as well. Hard not to love the lines of that fine weapon.

Really waiting for someone to show up with a Reichsrevolver

Very nice pieces, all.  Thanks.  If the grips are not original, is the piece still C&R eligible?

You need both No. 2 Mk. I* pistols. Spax has both too.

Why do I click on threads like this? Ten minutes ago C&R revolvers weren't even on my radar. Now I want all of them.
