What is the going rate for a case of this stuff unopened? How does it compare to the Russian ball currently on the market?

I assume you're talking Czech silver tipped (light ball)?

This is superior ammo to pretty much all milsurp except for the Russian 7n1.  Finn D166 is better than the 7n1 or the Czech stuff, but it's also collectible and not easily found at all.

The price, however, shouldn't be appreciably higher for the Czech.  It might command a small premium over the other military surplus stuff, but it shouldn't be as much as any commercial ammo.

I bought a case of it for $60 at a gunshow back in the day when it was everywhere. I would say $250
