I broke the trigger return spring on my M91/30. Well, that's what I've been calling it, but it looks like it's known as a "slack spring."

It looks like the main option I'm finding on Google is the kit on C&R Surplus Spring LLC's webpage. Has anyone used these?

Any other suggestions?

Five years ago I would have said throw it away and buy a new one.

ETA: Sorry, I thought this was GD.

That "slack spring" that you've found is an aftermarket addition to supposedly improve the Mosin's trigger pull.  But it still requires the original trigger spring.  It won't do you any good without replacing the broken part.

Just get an surplus trigger spring (aka "sear spring").  Several online surplus rifle part stores have them:

You can also find them on eBay.
