THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
This pistol came into a local shop on consignment and I snapped it up for the collection. The few pistols of this type that I've run across for fair pricing were always the late two lever guns. So, I jumped at the chance to get a shooter 3 lever pistol that still has the disassembly catch. When field stripped, I found the #'s match on the bbl and slide but, differ from the frame. I'm not sure if this is a vet bring back, a Com block rebuild, or just a franken gun. The bbl and recoil spring assembly being in the white as well as a lack of import marks makes Com-bloc less likely. Though the pistol retains its original grips and magazine, it has been professionally reblued. I'm looking fwd to getting this out to the range

The Radom is a cool design that blends aspects of the BHP and 1911. It also has a decocker on the slide. These were kept in production by the Wermacht and it seems they saw a lot of use with the Kreigsmarine, Lufwaffe/fallschirmjagers, and SS. This model was prob made prior to 1942 with and H prefix frame and G prefix top end.

They're definitely fun guns.

Picked up a no-import marked three lever one with the original mag for $175 about a year ago. Needed the recoil spring guide rebuilt, repro grips and is missing a lot of blue but bore is perfect, all numbers match and shoots like a house afire.

Needless to say I'm thrilled with it.

Very nice, my Radom has consistently been the most accurate ,most reliable German milsurp I own, its a dream to shoot. Here's mine with some of my other Krauts, its a all matching 3 lever with post war grips. Original grips are proving hard to find at a decent price but I'll get them eventually.

I am still waiting to have one cross my path. I want one and yours is a real nice piece. An acquaintance of my Father has a Polish 1939 Radom. Absolutely beautiful.

SGT_Lord Nice 38H in the crowd. I have a pre-war Sauer 38 from a Dutch contract that lacks the safety on the slide and resembles the late war German pistols. The cocking lever is a cool feature

I agree about the 38h, its a handy little pistol with unique features. Mine's a type 3 with German Army proofs. If I could find a mechanically sound 38H with a trashed finish(non collectable)I would have it hard chromed and I would carry it, even if it is only .32 cal.

I have a similiar one, also reworked at some time. They are reliable guns and well balanced.
