I find Surplus Rifle forum a little off the beaten path when the moderator tells you to use credit cards and beer cans to bed an Enfield rifle. Peter Laidler the Senior British armourer called the bedding job below a travesty. When the other moderator tells you the chambers on Enfield rifles were drilled off center as the reason he has warped banana shaped cases after firing his Enfield rifle this again shows the ignorance and lack of knowledge of the Enfield rifle that these people have and is NOT where I would go looking for real answers.
There is more printed Enfield reference material at Milsurps.com than at ANY Enfield website or forum period, I know because I donated 95% of all the Enfield books and manuals they have there. ![]() |
