I currently have two barrels that I interchange on my takedown. I bought the X-22 backpacker stock but am now looking to buy just a 2nd foregrip so that I can still use my two barrels with the new stock instead of being limited to one. Any ideas?

Your best bet would be to call Magpul directly. They have pretty awesome customer service from what I've heard and read.

I emailed then directly about the same time I posted. They replied just now and said they don't sell it separately. Guess I'll be returning it...

I doubt any stock manufacturer for the take down sells the fore end only. If you want to be cool, some times it costs a little money. Bite the bullet and buy a second stock kit. Maybe be able to sell just the stock section on eBay.

I may just keep looking around. Or stick with the X2 backpacker if I can find a really good deal on another one. I have a year likely until my Gemtec Mist comes in.
