Ok here is the game plan: buying a charger, I want to put it in a chassis that takes an AR buffer tube so I can mount a shockwave brace to it I've seen several chassis setup like that but I need to be sure I can swap the tube out for the shockwaves tube.

PMACA has several types that take AR buffer tubes. This is one with a long rifle FF tube on it.

This has a built in tube but I think you can use any AR butt stock on it.

Strike force stock may work looked at one in person and I'll have to make small mods but it does fold so that's sweet

That's a nice build Engineer, I have the same chassis with a Hogue grip and a 8" taper threaded barrel. I've had the Charger in several different configurations and just can't get it quite like I want it. The Hogue grip and factory GI just seem to be at a bit too much of an angle for me. I was curious about your grip and barrel setup. The grip doesn't appear to be at quite the same angle as standard GI/AR, was this modified by you or just different standards of a manufacturer? I couldn't  find a threaded barrel anywhere to come out to the perfect length to fit the chassis as does yours. Did you cut down a .920 or standard barrel for that? Tactical Solutions used to make a 6" threaded lightweight .920 barrel, but has been discontinued for several years now. I'd love to run across one of those!

Thanks for the compliments!

The grip is a Griffin Armament A3. It's more vertical than the old A1 grip and handles much nicer than the Hogue I had on previously. Doesn't quite integrate as well with the gap filler but I'll take function over form.

The barrel is a KIDD 6" pistol barrel. It's not lightweight, but the weight is bearable since it's only 6" long. If you are looking for a lighter weight barrel, Beyer makes a 6" ultralight target barrel that is threaded.

What hand guard is that and how did you mod it to work with the PMACA chassis. I have been wanting to do something just like that. Any help would be awesome, thanks!

It's a Nordic Components small diameter AR22 handguard.  It needs notched on the end closest to the action so that it slides back farther into the chassis.  I did it with a mill, but a determined guy could take care of it with a bandsaw, hacksaw, or dremel.

How is the cheek weld with those sights on the PMACA chassis. I have one and would like to use sights like that, but I am afraid they will be too low.

Sorry it took me so long to reply.

It is a Hera Arms SFU and a gear head tailhook brace.
