I said "first" because I have a feeling I'm going to want another, just like my damn AR addiction. I ordered the blued international edition with the Mannlicher stock:

Congrats.  I bought my first one earlier this year too.  Extra mags and ammo were a good start.  I wish that I had some local people that had different trigger setups that I could try out.  Mine could use some work and I'd like to see if a tuning may work or if replacement is in order.

Enjoy! I'll be getting another one before Christmas, I think.

Yep I'd start off with a trigger from them.

I agree with most of the other posters that Kidd makes awesome 10/22 parts.  But for a walnut stocked Mannlicher I would be more inclined to keep it "stock" and send it to Randy @ CPC for a full tune up.

What ever you do I hope you enjoy your 10/22!

That is a super nice looking rifle. I believe one is on my next purchase list.

Got the ammo and mags in before the rifle came in...

I didn't realize how large the 15 round mag is compared to the 10 round mag...

and the extractor, firing pin or even the entire bolt. Altogether they will turn that rifle into amazing from just good fun. Seriously, Tony's parts are fantastic.

Not sure if you can have CPC do a full tuneup on a Mannlicher 10/22. The full tuneup includes redoing the chamber and he shortens the barrel by a half inch or more to do it. Sent my LVT to Randy earlier this year and the 20 inch barrel is now 19.25 inches.

She is a beaut, I might have to pick one of those up to go with my old one made in the 60's and my stainless that my Dad left me a year ago, might as well have a couple more of them.

Have fun with it!

Welcome to the world of the Ruger 10/22. I've had 7 of them, currently have 5. Highly suggest you check out the website of local 40+ year 10/22 Master Builder Vince Heier(google him). He has done dandy trigger jobs on every 10/22 I've owned and nearly every other person I know that owns a 10/22. His custom pieces are breathtaking heirloom firearms. He also has many links to 10/22 resources on his site. Vince is a good man, a former Army/CIA sniper(Vietnam/Laos) and prize winning long range marksman. He knows his business and knows it well. Again, welcome to the 10/22 world. Now load up on .22LR because you're going to be using a lot of it.
