Their web site says that the newer style uses a Weaver 63b rail. It is also says its flat on top where the base mounts. I cant remember if the Ruger bases are curved where they meet the receiver.

Hmmm..... I may just need to add a NoDak mount to that list as well then. I've got the LaRue mount, so I'll see when it comes in. |

Our scope base hole pattern is the same as the Marlin 336 family.
8x40 threads and a flat top receiver. I felt it would give a stronger and more consistent mounting interface. |

I may be pulling the trigger on one of these soon as well. Do you have some in stock? Also, any reason you changed the receiver to the new style from the one with the built in rail? Thanks! |

Yes they are in stock.
We switch to the smooth top because it's cleaner looking and more versatile. |
