I hate the rubber Hogue uses.
I prefer Butler Creek for 10-22.

Well - I have a Hogue stock I'll sell you cheap, I just replaced it with the Magpul X-22.
Does that answer your question?

Bob S. Yeah. Between this thread and the one I have on Rimfire Central, it seems the Magpul is the clear choice. Lot of folks say the Hogue is pretty flexible and not that stable. |

I would go with the Magpul. It's more pricey but has the adjustable comb height and LOP which I feel gives it a huge advantage over the other stocks mentioned here. Additionally, add-ons can be attached via the slots in the stock.

The Hogue feels "small" for me. Like I'm shouldering my nephew's youth model 870. My X-22 should be delivered on Tuesday.

If you get a Hogue skip the rubber overmolded one and get the nylon overmolded one.
