Made from 1936-1940, this rifle is a neat piece of old world engineering. Hooded front sight, Diopter style rear sight. Tube fed. Very crisp trigger. The rifle has an interesting feeding mechanism not unlike a lever gun or shotgun. The rounds are drawn from the tube, lifted up directly in front of the chamber, and the bolt pushes them home. The bullet tip makes no contact with anything.

The DE date code puts her being made in September of 1936. So she is 80 years old next month.

Very nice rifle
wouldn't mind a Model 34, 341, or 512 tube fed bolt gun Already have a Winchester 72A tube fed bolt gun as well |

Nice gun! I have a model 34, which has the same action. It is still a very accurate gun for being 80 something years old, and one of my favorites to take to the range. It is one I will pass on to my son one day.
