Im looking all over and I dont see squat. Everything I see is 16.5.
I want something 4.5" takedown ready.
If there is nothing Ill buy one and have it chopped. Rather buy.

I haven't seen anything in 4.5 either. Shortest I've seen is 8 inches on eBay. Looks like buying a regular takedown barrel and getting it chopped is your only answer.

I knew I couldn't find anything, I've been looking in all the usual places.

Thanks.

It is a TD Charger (4918).
Im fishing to find the comfortable length. Ive hacked up & off a factory rifle stock, since the pic Ive reduced the butt in half. Im close there. This barrel length is a factory Charger barrel though- 10" is way too long though.

You might have to chop it. Short takedown barrels are few and far between, unfortunately.

In fact, the only 4.5" (non-TD) bull barrel I found was through Beyer Barrels, and he didn't even have it listed on the website. That barrel length is just unpopular because 10/22s have never been considered great SBR candidates.

How long is the forearm?  I'd chop that barrel about an eighth of an inch longer than it.

Or...

If you cut the barrel shorter than the forearm, remember that you'll have to modify that section to allow for the larger diameter of the suppressor.  Can you do that? Can the forearm be cut to 4.5" too?

A photochop to help you visualize it with the can just in front:

I'm not too hung up on the forearm. I'll hack the nose off that to where it needs to be.

It's the barrel in stuck on. 4.5 makes everything subsonic.

Acraglas is easy to work with if you want to clean up the tip after cutting it.

Looks like you'll need to allow for the mounting block.  Maybe do the barrel shoulder just in front of it?, whatever that length is.  Should be close to 4.5".

Post pics when you get 'er done - that'll be a fun setup, for sure.
