I want an American Rimfire with a threaded barrel as a suppressor host.  A guy local to me has one and has accepted my trade offer of my stainless 10/22 takedown plus $40 coming from him.  Assume both guns are in near new condition.  Does anyone think this is a bad trade?

If  you get what you want no.

I'm not one to fuss over dollars if both parties are happy in the end.

10/22 TD is normally around $300 and RAR are $260ish, so you tell us?  You can have your 10/22 for $50, but I will tell you that the bolt action will be quiet compared to the 10/22 as you will hear the action cycling even if you use subsonic ammo with suppressor.
