I currently have a Savage MK II BV and I LOVE IT. Accurate as can be.

Im going to purchase a 22 can and want to use it on this host...

Unfortunately this model Savage doesn't come threaded. Its a heavy barrel.

Who do you recommend to thread my heavy barrel?

Or do I just purchase a FVSR? Id rather use what I already own though.

FVSR is worth every penny.

That said, member eastTXhunter does excellent work. See ad here

I think I will contact ADCO and go from there.

I used JP Machine to thread my Browning Buckmark pistol about a year ago. He charged me $135.00 for the job, which included cutting the barrel back to 4", re-crowning the muzzle and re-mounting the front sight. The price also includes a thread protector.

According to the website, he also does the Savage MK II's and 93's for $120.00:

EastTXhunter did my Ruger American to Silencerco specs.  Took a little while but the price and quality of the work is great.

I have used JP Grip and Machine to thread all of my rifles/pistols that needed to be threaded.

2 Rem 700's (his limit is 24'' barrels). 221 Rem Fireball,  got a 26'' 222 I going to have to find someone to thread it.
1 Remington Nylon 66 22lr
1 Marlin bolt 22lr
1 Savage MK II BV 22lr
1 Ruger Mark II
1 Ruger Mark III

Very professional and accurate work, and I highly recommend him.
His name is Jim Pixley

And he does the Silencerco "O ring" thread pattern
