Went with the Volq for matches, but prefer stock for hunting, etc
Too easy to drop mag with extended ones.

KIDD is by far my favorite. When you buy their release it comes with two levers, an extended one similar in length(not shape though) to the factory release and a long lever that wraps around the trigger guard. A half a turn from an Allen wrench and you can remove and reinstall a different lever.

You can also get a flat release that is similar to the old school mag release that came with the metal trigger assemblies.

I've become a fan of the PWS T3 lever. Very convenient to operate with the tip of the  index finger.

Me too! Without moving my grip I can release the mag.

when I started my STC 10/22 in the early 90s, there were not too many custom parts ... drilled and threaded for a cap screw works well

I made my own by drilling the mag release and used the original bolt buffer pin (After replacing it with a urethane one.) held in place with JB weld.  I saw the mod on rimfirecentral.com many years ago.

Nope. I like them, but I kept dropping mags while hunting with them installed.
I went with a Volquartsen
These would be great for competition, but not good for hunting unless you like to spend your hunting time searching for mags

I honestly prefer the factory long release. I find the ones that extend under the trigger guard to be too long for anything but a bench gun.
