[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need suggestions for making a 10/22 "tactical".

I'm just looking for a pistol grip stock that has a rail so I can mount a light. We are having a varmint problem and holding the light while aiming is getting old. I have a standard stainless model with synthetic stock that is already threaded with a suppressor. Don't need super fancy or expensive. Just practical and tactical.

Both come with a pistol grip and rail.

A cheaper way would be to get a Section of Rail and bolt it to your existing stock.

Or you could get a replacement barrel band with a rail on it like this one..

Just installed this. Works great. Tight fit and the light is in just the right place.

The nomad G36 stock or go old school tactical and put it in a M1 carbine stock with
a set of tech-sights, mini red dot optional, and screw on a picatinny rail section.

If you feel like going really different put it in a M1a1 paratrooper stock

Don't forget the suppressor and sling.
