I'm about to order one today, but I'm wondering which model you guys would recommend. I'm leaning towards the tactical version with the threaded barrel and flash suppressor as I'd like to pick a suppressor up in the future.

But should I go with stainless or blued? It seems most of the tactical versions come with blued barrels, but I was told that Davidson's exclusives are threaded staineless barrels.

Thanks  guys!

The Davidsons #11125 is what I would recommend, I have bought my son and I each one.

It has a shorter barrel, good for the whole takedown stow and go aspect.

It is already threaded, Fiber Optic sights and BX-25 25rdmag.

I have the same one and it's the best version, IMO

Is that the stainless one?  If so, I sell them like hot cakes AND kept one for my personal collection.

I am probably an odd man out here, but I have had my bare bones TD for a few years now and have not upgraded it at all.  It has a stainless steel barrel and the factory plastic stock,  It is accurate enough as is.

That's what I own, and I've sold four more.  I was actually sad to remove the existing factory sights, but I wanted Tech Sights.

I agree!  Great sights, 16" barrel threaded, SS, hi-cap mag, lifetime warranty and great price when ordered through Davidson's Gallery of Guns and picked up at your local dealer.

A little late to the game but I went w/ model 11140.  Same as Batman's, just the blued model.  Go to Ruger's distributor exclusive page & there's a bunch of different ones, including some I had never seen before.

I have one of the original stainless models. My only regret is that I didn't wait for the threaded barrel.

Dang impulse buys...I just ordered one.

Will likely replace the flash suppressor with a thread protector until after I move and get started on suppressor.
