i'd want something with a folder and adjustable lop.

-ruger 10/22 takedown
-butler creek or tapco stock (or other stock)  cut and modified for the takedown
-folder removed
-ace hinge bolted in place and stock of choice installed (i'm thinking something with a buffer tube)

I cut one of these and put on my 10/22 takedown.

It works great but you have to cut out some of the ribs in the forearm portion and make an access hole for the takedown lever if you decide to use the front half.
Nothing that an afternoon with a band saw and a dremel tool can't solve.

Can the buffer tube and grip be switched out on that stock?
