Anyone shoot .22LR at 100 and 200yds?

I found some official NR smallbore targets for those ranges  . Someone must be holding competitions at those ranges.

Not very often, but a few years ago a member here held a couple of rimfire matches at their club. There were some really fun stages, but my favorite was the long range stage. They had a 3.5" steel swinger placed every 10 yards out to 200 yards. You were timed at how long it took you to finish out the 20 targets. Max time allowed was 10 minutes. I had figured out my drops ahead of the match and did a little practicing one evening. I did it in under 8 minutes at the first match. I flew through the first five (50 yards), then the next five out to 100 yards wasn't bad. After that it started getting tricky. Beyond 150 was getting very tricky, as there was a very slight cross-breeze. The next time I went I don't think anyone got all 20 targets in under ten minutes. There was a breeze again, still light, but heavier than the last time. Those late five plates were tough.

Did 100 yards this afternoon with a friend's 513. Leather sling, no coat, ~100 degrees. I kept 15/20 (first 3 were sighters) within the 9 ring on the MR31C target.

I did 100 yards today with the Savage FV-SR.  Best group was .89", five shots with Eley Club.  Everything else groups like crap.  I have a 6" plate at 175 yards that I can hit every time.

Going to 100 yards isn't too bad...going beyond 100 yards becomes a challenge.

I zeroed my .22 for 100 yards and shoot a 10" steel plate a 200 yards without much of a problem. I have a couple of 10/22's and a Savage bolt .22 both shoot great. I am using a cheap $100 scope from Cabela's that I bought a few of when they were %50 off. Also have a bipod on both rifles.

My friend bought a Savage FV SR last week and I was amazed on how accurate that gun was out of the box at 50 and 100 yards.

I am still working on geeting the optimum .22LR for my CZ 455 Varmit.

My S&W 15-22 isn't a sub-moa hole puncher and I don't shoot competitively, purely fun gun, but I regularly shoot it out to 200 yards and I have no problem hitting clay pigeons at distance using a vortex strikefire v.1
