THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT yes no ???? the little brass stock sight is not working for my old eyes. great for squirells but crappy for speed and quick sight picture acquisition. thoughts? |

Those are very easy to see, but it's easy to break the fiber optic rod. Also, I've seen several just fall out.

if i am not using this weapon for anything but competition and keeping it secure in a case the rest of the time is it a go or no go?

ended up taken 8th place out of 48. not to bad for an old mans first time... that's what she said lol.

I was going to suggest going to a hobby shop and getting some high contrast hobby paint and a fine brush to paint your front sight so it's easier to see. Sorry, day late again.... |

What kind of competition shooting are you doing? I don't think fiber optic sights are good at all for precision work. I would think that little brass thingy is better. But I know what you're saying about having a problem with the eyes. I think a black post that is flat on the top is the best. FWIW Are the tech sights like that?
