I plan to run my yhm phantom 308 can on my 308 and 556 ARs. I have a 1/9 threaded barrel on the 10/22 that will accept the qd and figured why not. Has anyone tried this?

I have that same can and use it on my 308 bolt gun and ar's. All though it's heavy it's a good can. You don't want to use a seal can on any 22 lr guns. 22 lr ammo is very dirty, this is why they make cans just for them. After 500 rounds the inside of the can is caked with lead and burnt/unburnt gun powder. Don't do it. Just buy the right can like a sparrow and then use it and clean it.

It will physically work, but I strongly recommend against in for the reasons listed above. There was a member here (mjohn3006?) who put that can on a P22 for a goofy picture, but that's about it. That suppressor weighs about 2 lbs, and a 22Sparrow is about 6 ounces. Really, you're better off with a 22LR can for a 10/22; trust me.

I have the Ti, so weight is not an issue, but the 22 crud is a great point!
