Thanks!
Tripod is a old Manfrotto (3021 pro I think?), Manfrotto ball head (055 maybe?), and HOG saddle. I'm not at home, otherwise I could double check those. Got both Manfrotto items off ebay for a fraction of their full price.
Rifle is just a 10/22T I had threaded and put in a Bell & Carlson varmint stock. Weaver 3-10x in TPS rings, and a TAB Gear sling off my 700.

My first 10/22.  PMACA chassis with a modified NC tube.  It fits my 5yo son with the stock closed like that.

It always starts with a Ruger 10-22 of course, and this one cost a whole $162.50 in stainless from Academy Sports a few (ahem, I said a few son) years ago, customized with an old-still-solid Butler Creek folding stock (custom camo by Wally World Krylon rattle can, Sharpie permanent and paint markers - inspired by chronic insomnia and the boredom of low grade late night television), several old reliable Butler Creek 25 round hot lips and steel lips magazines, a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40mm scope in a one-piece rock-solid WMD scope mount, a long thick comfy sling made out of a buttload of 850 (no not 550) paracord, an Inova Bolt Cree LED stainless flashlight in an old Daniel Defense mount that was laying around on my desk, a recently added drop in Ruger BX trigger group upgrade, a Lazermax red forend mounted laser, and for the cherry on top...a stainless Silencerco White Sparrow to keep things quiet.

This is a serious live off the land camping, hiking, long-term backpacking, have yaself some fun while ya there cher, gun that has proved its worth...and I think she's pretty too.

Wtf? Some spiders jumped on my gun in the last picture...? herp. derp.

I think the spiders were trying to protect the gun from the onslaught of buggies!

On a serious note, how do you like that buttler creek folder? I had a chance to pick up a brand new one very cheap just before battelfield guns closed down but i wasnt able to make it there in time. I have kicked myself ever since.

The Butler Creek folding stock is ROCK SOLID when locked, either open or closed, and the button is large and stiff and I have never accidentally pressed it.  In addition, my eye is in perfect horizontal allignment for a low mount 3-9x40mm scope with a proper cheek weld to the stock.  It looks like it would be uncomfortable, but it is not.  The gun is also fully operational with the stock closed, and although this stock was originally pitched as a space saving measure, I keep it on there now also because it is more comfortable to shot with than any of the other stocks I have tried.
YMMV, as always, of course.

...and since it is a picture thread, here's an old one from before the fancy camo paint job, when she still had a Simmons scope mounted, and a couple new pictures from tonight.

It's just a standard 10/22 blued carbine receiver. At this point, that and the bolt are pretty much the only stock parts remaining. And unfortunately, I won't have a picture with the suppressor for several more months now :/ NFA wait times keep climbing, so who knows when I'll actually be able to run it like I should be able to.

On the bright side, I'm shooting a carbine competition with it today. I should have some cool gopro footage of this thing in action.

Here's a Glenfield Model 20 that I found while helping a lady in our church clean out her deceased father's place. The gun was an absolute mess. The barreled action was in one place, the stock in another, and the bolt handle in a pile of junk. The bolt was rusted closed and the handle had been broken off the bolt body. The barrel had an obstruction in it and the stock was starting to rot around the buttplate. I was able to free the bolt, weld the handle back on, clear the barrel obstruction, and refinish the metal and stock. I have about $40 invested in it which was mostly the cost of two magazines and spay paint. I had the scope and rings laying around so put those on it. Still need to add some swivel studs and maybe a bipod. It's become one of my favorite .22's.

What barrel length are you running on your SBR?  Does it run reliably?

My hunting/precision rig.  Whistle Pig barrel, Magpul stock and Vortex Diamondback 2-7x Rimfire.

I've owned this rifle for over a decade and it's gone through more transformations than Lady GaGa.  This is its latest incarnation.  I'm not even sure how much Ruger stuff is still in it.

Ha, yep. That Magpul stock is nearly as expensive as the rifle itself after the addition of cheek risers and sling mounts, but is a great compromise between a field stock and a precision stock. And I like how it looks!

Couple updates on my integrated 10/22's:

The Liberty on top now has a Kidd charging handle/guide rod kit, bolt buffer, and extended rail.  It also has a Vortex Diamonback HP 1-8x.

The Mist-TD on the bottom got a Boyd's Barracuda TD stock (the Hogue overmold cracked) and a Kidd guide rod kit and charging handle.

I still need to build up another rifle for the Huntertown Arms T-22 Fusion barrel.

Just got my SBR stamp.  Now waiting on my suppressor stamp which was just approved.  Barrel is a 6" whistle pig - the owner had a batch made at my request.  With the can on it, it'll just stick out past the end of the stock.

Not exactly an original concept, but it is mine!  This thing is going to be a riot to shoot.

Updated - Updated the pic while I had access to my can.  Holy crap is that fun to shoot!!!

Looks good.  I was going to do the same thing but anything over 4.5" or so will make ammo supersonic so I figured I'd just run mine 10" and shoot mostly without a can.  I kept the Blackhawk stock if I decide to change it to something similar to yours. I'm sure you will love it!

Not exactly an original concept, but it is mine!  This thing is going to be a riot to shoot.

Looks good.  I was going to do the same thing but anything over 4.5" or so will make ammo supersonic so I figured I'd just run mine 10" and shoot mostly without a can.  I kept the Blackhawk stock if I decide to change it to something similar to yours. I'm sure you will love it!

I'm trying to decide, long term, whether to get an AGP folding stock and make it a true pocket rifle or to buy a used target laminate stock and cut the barrel channel to surround my can.  Perhaps both?

Yeah, in the end I wanted a pretty short rifle but I knew that most of the time I'd be shooting it unsupressed.  I figured the reliability of a slightly longer barrel would be worth the trade-off for suppressed performance.

FV-SR, Boyd's stock, DIP bottom metal/trigger guard, Sweet 22, Leupold rings, AAC Pilot 2, and a cheap swivel bipod. Only about $550 total into it without the can. I'm happy.

Couldn't leave well enough alone and picked up an AGP stock as an alternate for when I'm shooting unsuppressed.  Pretty cool setup. This is going to be fun.

My first gun was my 10/22 bought back in 1988 when I turned 18 and could get my long gun license. I shot the shit out of it pretty much every day after school/work. I had not shot it in like 20 years.

I brought it back to life with:
- Magpul x22 stock
- GM 18" bull barrel
- Brimstone Tier 3 trigger
- LaRue Tactical rail
- Kidd Bolt
- Kidd Guide rod & +10% spring
- Kidd trigger pins
- Kidd buffer
- Ruger extended mag release
- Bushnell Ultra Legend HD 4x14
- Burris Extreme Tactical rings

It will shoot one hole @ 25yds without any effort.
It is pretty easy to shoot groups under 1" @ 50yds.
At 100yds I have moments of WOW that was good to WOW does that suck. I can keep it within 2". I want to shoot 1" (or less) at 100yds.
I have not shot it with any match ammo as of yet. As of right now it seems to do best with Aguila Super Extra High Velocity.
