That is exactly what ive been wanting for my second build.  Thanks for sharing bro.

ETA:  threw a harris bi-pod on today.   Just a suppressor and eventually a trigger group but otherwise pretty much finished:

My daughters' Rascals

I had the barrels threaded down to 3/8-24 and used a M&P 22 Compact adapter from EWK Arms to get back to 1/2-28 (waiting on a Sparrow & Spectre II to get out of NFA jail).

Thanks
This is the chassis:

I had it and the buffer tube cerakoted burnt bronze.

The barrel is  Kidd 6" cerakoted black, the suppressor is an Element 2, trigger group is a Kidd 2 stage and the stock is a BMS battlelink minimalist.  I had the bolt reworked by Que when he was still doing them.  Red dot is a Primary Arms I got for $50 a while back when they blew out old models for new ones.

ETA:  The actual receiver is the only stock thing about the rifle - it's a Ruger receiver I got a tax stamp on a couple of years ago.

I'd really like to try a rascal for my son, threaded as well. I got a crickett and the action seems dinky and I'm not sure I was to drop the coin on getting it threaded. Do they feed pretty good? The Crickett is kind of tough to load as you have to drop the bullet directly into the chamber.

Thank you for the compliment! It has turned out to be one kick-a$$ rifle IMO. It's balanced very well and is easy to shoot offhand accurately. Off of a rest it is easily sub MOA to 50 yards & I'm sure out to 100y like my other KIDDs but I haven't tried it that far out yet. It has turned into one of my favorite rifles I've ever shot....I like it that much

I adddd a a couple pics of its little buddy...another great shooting KIDD

Im actually in the top 10 on both the 25y and 50y games with different KIDD rifles. I go by a different screen name over at RFC.

I was big into the 10/22 benchrest thing for a couple years but have stopped for the last year or so. 10/22s, well any auto loader, can be frustrating when you're going for extreme accuracy. Loading from a magazine and the looser chamber required for reliability both limit accuracy IME. Add those to the frustration of rimfire ammo and it can be a bit maddening. You have to be able & prepared to search for just the right lot of ammo if you want great accuracy and then ready to drop a grand or more when you find it. Just blindly buying ammo(no testing) off the shelves or from online retailers in small batches ends up wasting tons of $$ and gives mediocre results(for serious BR) more often than not.

I now go to the range and do a bit of offhand shooting or real relaxed shooting off the bench. Under 1/4" @ 25 or 1/2" @ 50 is enough to make me happy.....

Yeah, it sounds like alot of fun for sure.  I am new to rimfire so for my first build I just wanted a reliable, fairly accurate plinker for varmit / paper shooting.  It will be a long time until I save enough funds to go full bore into a bench gun but I have already been bitten by the rimfire bug so we shall see!

What's your screen name over at RFC?

Is that the Bushnell that has the .22LR BDC? Does it work at those distances?

It's a Nikon.  It has the .22LR BDC but I haven't shot it yet.  I'll try to take it out Saturday and give an update.

Did you get a chance to take it out yet?

I took it out yesterday.  I zeroed it at 25yds, and the BDC seemed to be pretty accurate.
You can go to Nikons website and print out custom charts for different rounds and different zeros.

I'm happy with the scope and the rifle.

BTW, sub sonics through a suppressed bolt gun are a frickin blast!

That is a great looking setup!

I am looking at getting the tan Magpul stock for my 10/22. Mine has a Butler Creek bull barrel and synthetic stock on it, along with a BSA "Sweet 22" scope. I am waiting on a SilencerCo Spectre II that is currently in jail.....Hopefully looking at March or April to take possession of it......

Last week, I pulled the trigger on a Tactical Solutions X-Ring 10/22 rifle. The rifle shipped from TacSol with a Vortex Crossfire II riflescope + TacSol's Tru-Tac 1" scope rings. She shoots like a dream! The rifle will be complete in a week or two from now when my Dead Air Armament Mask HD + SilencerCo Sparrow suppresors arrive at my local gun shop!

10 Shot group at 25 yards.

On Sunday, I will have the opportunity to stretch her legs + engage steel targets at 50-150 yards. Would you folks recommend the single stage or two stage KIDD trigger unit?

My friends, I will be the first to admit that my patience is not my strongest suit. I purchased a SureFire Ryder 22-A suppressor on a whim this afternoon. I ordered a Mask HD suppressor a month ago + it has yet to arrive at my LGS. Therefore, I needed a can to hold me over until it arrives. With the Ryder weighing in at a mere 3.1 ounces, it makes for an extremely lightweight packaged when coupled with my Tac Sol X-Ring 10/22 rifle. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase!
