Good evening,

I am looking for suggestions for a carrier for a SPEAR BALCS type soft armor insert.

Is Beezs Combat Systems a good brand to consider?

There was a thread about them a couple years ago and they really dropped the ball on QC AND CS. Like really bad.

At that time I had an nij carrier, an AK chest rig that I had used with good effect and a low pro plate carrier on order.

I lucked out and all three pieces were very nice and very well made. I only have the nij carrier left but not due to the quality.

Because of the CS in that thread I would be Leary about ordering again. My 3 products were very well made and never had to deal with their CS myself.

For BALCS stuff, the First Spear Seige is a great vest. Great company.

I don't think you can beat the RBAV for how much it costs right now.

I like the RBAV or the CIRAS.

RBAB-AF is the best BALCS armor carrier out there IMO and is what I use.

Unfortunately they don't make RBAVs anymore so finding new ones can be a pain.

SDS or BAE -- check ebay, brand new surplus vests in ranger green or khaki go for like $100.

Check eBay. Usually plenty of essentially new ones for not much money. Part of the draw IMO.
