Friends were talking about someone at a class that had a sling bag that had a rapid open feature to access your pistol and had 2 plates inside so when you wore it in front your vitals were protected. They forgot to ask who made it.
Any ideas what it is?

I have an old HSGI Armordillo bag that has a pocket between the holster back panel and the interior. I have a level III soft panel in there but it could fit hard plates too. HSGI says they will eventually bring the Armordillo back into production.

The rad pack is probably it. I'll show it to them.
Thanks

SDS did one and of course condor knocked it off.  I think Blue force gear did/ does one as well

Thanks - I'll look those up because it wasn't the rad pack. $600 is nuts for a pack

I remember Ares Armor had another video explaining that video cut was a glitch.

Unless the new assholes that bought out the former Ares Armor and kicked out Dimitri, its original founder and owner brought back the RAD pack, it hasn't been for sale in years. I tried to get one a few years ago when I was still at Camp Pendleton but if I remember correctly Dimitri told me it was a limited run. One of my buddies had one though and he successfully used it to conceal his M9 and prevent a jackass ANA soldier from shooting a fellow Marine. Unfortunately that testimonial disappeared a long time ago from the website.

Now that company is called American Weapons Components, and I refuse to give a cent to those clowns. I am not affiliated with the former Ares Armor at all, just a Marine that stumbled into their store. Dimitri and his old crew were good people, too bad all that BS went down.

DIsband the fucking ATF! Rant over
