Back in the day I bought a few of the michigan tactical battleers and I really like them, and use them all of the time.  Earlier today I decided I wanted more of them only to find out that the website is dead and gone.  So I did some digging and the Original seller hasn't been around for a while:

So, is anyone making these anymore or failing that, a similar product?

This is what I am talking about:

These were perfect for holding 20 rounders, boxes of .5.56, 5 round Slug/Buck boxes, etc.

Check with Jerry at Olongapo Outfitters. He might make something like that to serve your needs.

Those look pretty bad ass, I would pick up a few if you find a source.

If not you could try using the commie sks chest rig and mod into something similar

I've sent emails or IMs to everyone listed so far, and don't have responses yet.

Did you ever hear back from anyone?  I've been looking for something like this.  There is a vendor for something similar, but it's open-topped (like the British .303 ammo bandoliers) and clearly intended for chargers (fine by me, since that's what I need, but not sure it fits your purposes).

Nope, no worthwhile responses to any of my inquiries.  One place replied at first, but then stopped replying and I am not sure if it was because I did not want 50 of them or that I wanted to bring up the subject of potential price..

So, I am still looking for these.

I got a few for my M1 and 20 round AR mags , I also put 12g rounds in them.

I have been using them every range trip for the past 8 years.

Nice durable and cheap,

I have an Olongapo bandoleer for M1 clips. its awesome. Made me want to store all my stuff in bandoleers for organization, ease of transport, and grab and go ability.

I actually own the AR magazine version of these, but I am looking for something that will hold smaller items - .223 strippers, 20 round AR mags, .308 boxed ammo, or 12ga 5 rounders...
