Turns out the fucker at Endeavor Stitch Works is a thief. He bills through Paypal then never ships what you bought.
I sincerely hope nobody else has sent him money due to my earlier post.

ATS War Belt $42 ...........unlike Condor belt not made in China, made in USA.

No offense but If you go with a surplus old alice belt chances are you will get a lot of weird looks at the range.

This ATS belt on its 4th deployment:

Not a total Condor hater that is a single Condor pistol mag pouch between the old OD Eagle cargo pouch and old Blackhawk dump pouch, I use to hold a multi-tool.

Let's face it, if you show up to most any range in the US while wearing any kind of pistol/battle/war belt/1st line, you're apt to get a lot of weird looks.

OP, you can get a USMC surplus belt and suspenders for $27.95 from Old Grouch. For pouches, you can find some USGI MOLLE ones on Old Grouch's site, or you can look around the EE for some decent deals, especially if you're not dead-set on a color/camo pattern and are willing to use whatever you can get cheaply. You can also look on UncleSamsRetailOutlet.com, where you may occasionally find a good deal. Additionally, keep an eye on the closeout and sale sections of some of the more popular online vendors. Tactical Tailor, for instance, usually has some great sales. Again, if you're cool with using patterns like ABU or ACU, you can find some really good deals.

USMC belt with suspenders (from Old Grouch's)
For those looking at this thing in confusion I'm right handed and left eye dominant (so rifle is lefty)

War belt by Dan Passaro, on Flickr

From left-to-right:

Countycomm Large Personal Carry Case LINK.  In this case fits, just, an Izzy 4-inch bandage.  See detail pics further down.
Condor double mag pouch
Black Countycomm Pouch, multitool, padded LINK

Empty space.  I like this so that I can sit without twisting myself.

A second Black Countycomm Pouch, multitool, padded LINK
Condor universal holster.  I bought this to put in a bag.  I might actually keep it on the belt.
A knockoff ITW fastmag pouch, to see if I liked it.

As far as the mag pouches go I'm leaning toward the Esstac KYWI versions, possibly even the rifle double mag version if it is low profile enough.

Tactical Tailor MAV chest rig.
I put this together about four years ago.  I single layered the setup to make going prone easy.  I used it in rifle classes and it certainly helps when going prone; with cheek weld and what-not.

Left-to-right:

5.11 Tactical 6x6 general purpose pouch.  Earplugs, sunblock, whatever.
Condor triple mag shingle.  PMAGs tend to hang up, due to their ribbing.
Space for .... something.  Haven't decided yet lol.

Not sure.  They had S and L.

I picked L for the most molle coverage.  I have a 40 inch waist (for now) and the first column of molle just about covers where an appendix is.

I need a hard holster, something that will mount to the USMC belt, which does NOT have an inner belt.

Drop leg holsters can burn in the rage of a dying volcano.

That is literally my problem right now. I want to go RTI wheel because I have multiple handguns I want to get holsters for. I need a platform to attach the RTI wheel to that is below the beltline, but above a drop leg. The only solution I've found is the S and S Precision system but that's like 150

I have an old TAG belt and it's a one piece, no slits and no inner belt unfortunately. I need something like that but instead interfaces with the molle.

Maybe you can build a dropped offset by using a piece of kydex drill the top portion to interface with the Molle mount (or Malice clips or Molle Lok) and the bottom half to interface with the RTI wheel.

Any holster mount that is predrilled in the 3/4" grid of the Blade Tech Tek-lok. Molle-Lok or the Blackhawk version can usually mount standard Malice Clips too (but not the Fight Light versions).

Another Idea is to buy a Kabar molle adapter and thread holster loop around that and mount to molle.

I use a safariland drop holster with the usmc belt. Theres very little drop with just one thigh strap. If you slice the material at the bottom you can feed the belt strap over the belt/stiffiner inside

Ebay and the Equipment Exchange here are great sources for high quality gear at inexpensive prices. I have well under $100 in this basic set up and other than the HSGI taco, it's all US military issue stuff bought on the cheap. With another rifle taco and a med kit the total investment would be at around $150 which is still pretty reasonable considering you can spend that much alone for a Safariland tactical holster..

I had a thought.

What about picking up a drop, slitting it in the middle to fit the webbing into, and then screwing a piece of kydex over the webbing, sandwiching it between the drop and the kydex?

Here is what I did after dropping a lot on my PC and wanting to keep the cost down.

Condor. Yeah, I know, but it's held up for me.

Condor inner belt -12
Condor Battle belt -19
Tactical Tailor fight light universal mag pouch -32
Condor pistol mag pouches -7 each
Condor dump pouch -15
Condor drop leg -20
Condor med pouch -15
Med supplies in it around 65
Armasight pouch I use for admin I had laying around.

So not super duper cheap but it's worked for me well and it's got all the stuff you need. You don't have to run an IFAK so that should save money.
