$12.99, $5.99 and another $5.99 later, does anyone have thoughts about who made these?  The mag pouches look TAG-ish, but there aren't any maker's labels to be found

(I just added those 4 steel D-rings)

Thanks guys! Quality-, fabric-, sewing-, and construction-wise, they look on par with my older Eagle stuff. The hydration carrier's buckles are US made and the zippers are heavy duty YKK brand.

In any case, SCORE!

Looks like marine corps standard issue Eagle Industries Modular Assault Pouch and mag pouches. You paid less than you would have on the EE here.

ETA: are there not sewn labels on the inside of the molle straps or backs of the pouches?

Nope, no labels: They're sterilized for your operationally operating operator's safety

Not so sure they are current-issue milsurp, because of black buckles and black metal snaps and drain grommets.

Some of the earlier generations of MLCS gear used black hardware. If it's sterilized, there's good chance that it was made by Eagle or Allied Industries. And if it is, indeed, earlier generation stuff, it will fetch some decent amount of money from collectors. Why? I have no clue.

Hahaha and be sure to add "DEVGRU" or "SEAL" to the listing as well-- you'll get a few extra hundred bucks for sure.

Nice pick up. Weird there is no tags anywhere though. Even th Chinese knock offs typically have a tag somewhere.

Looks to me like some early 2000's, maybe 2005-6 eagle industries gear judging by the black double snaps on your modular assault pack. The mag pouches are a dime a dozen but for 6 bucks a pop, they are still a good deal. That pack though that would run a pretty penny to the right collector. I would say a least 150, but a hell of a find nonetheless.

Older Eagle Industries/Allied Industries, appear to be the real deal... $150-$240 on ebay for the MAP..

The MAP isn't Eagle, it's AITES, these were available some time ago around the $70 mark from what I recall. They are a little bit different dimensioned from the EI ones, and IMO the contents shift a lot more readily too.

The AITES MAP is a lot bigger and has molle on the outside.

If you look on the back of the MAP there should be a velcro'd panel and sometimes in there is a tag.  If not, no biggie.....as everybody has said, Eagle and Allied made these for the MLCS kits and were pumping them out without tags.

They dont command the money they used to because of the AOR 1/2 craze now.

Are they MJK or coyote brown? Can't tell from the photo. This snaps on the tabs are usually a tell tale sign that it was issued gear. Might be AWS if not Eagle.

They are definately not TAG. If they were TAG they would not have snaps.

Looks like the older Eagle MAP with the black buckles.

Nice find!
