Can't find this anywhere on LBT's website or anywhere else for that matter. Haven't heard of fake LBT rigs though, and if it were going to be a fake, I wouldn't think it'd be a model that doesn't exist.
Anyone seen this model before? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-London-Bridge-LBT-6037A-Modular-Plate-Carrier-MULTICAM-Navy-SEAL-Medium-PC-/281305898991?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item417f235fef |

Ahh ebay seller legit kit. Home of the finest RARE SEAL LBT EAGLE SPECOPS MULTICAM AOR1 NSW gear.
Yeah, prolly legit. East coast NSW guys must make a killing selling lightly used gear to ebay resellers There's a lot of not-publicly-available stuff from the gear manufacturers out there in the wild. |

I see the model mentioned a lot on foreign airsoft sites. My guess is it's a fake.

Understand that there's a bunch of models of vests/plate carriers/chest rigs/pouches/etc that LBT doesn't have listed on their site for the sake of it all being just too much for them to list. If you contact them and ask them for a full catalog list, they can provide you with the information you're looking for regarding items not listed but available for retail.

IIRC LBT literally has hundreds (if not thousands) of different designs of pouches, bags, vests etc. that aren't listed on their site. Basically, if you have a need and can order a minimum amount of something, they'll build it for you. Hence why sometimes you see on Ebay some LBT pouches and that was built for a specific customer's needs and you're sitting there scratching your head trying to figure out what it was.

If anyone gets a chance to run it by LBT please post here with the result.

Spoke to this nice woman at LBT this morning.
Confirmed it was their kit Created in 2003, 2013 MSRP was $125.96, she didn't know 2014 prices. None in stock at LBT in MC, only had coyote or OD. Military gets 20% directly from them. Still gotta find $100 to buy this bitch |

LBT is great to speak on the phone with. Fire, EMS, and PD also get a nice discount. I always check with them first for new gear

I shot them an email one night (~9:00 eastern) asking a question about something, and got an answer about 5 minutes later with the last line being "Sent from my iPhone". Their sales folks are really committed to making sure you are getting helped 110%. |

LBT CONFIRMED IT IS REAL

Don't get me wrong, I already bought mine (in multicam) -- actually as I'm the OP I already bought it on a risk and was just wondering if what I have sitting in front of me is real.
But others may want khaki or black, to each his own. |

I have an issued one. Never worn it. We got a trunk full of lbtc gear before going to Iraq and none of us were impressed. The vest carrier sucked, pack straps were too close together in the rear, mag pouches had pull tabs attached too high up the flap.
Not even sure what plates fit it. It cost a fortune too. The 6094 is decent kit though. I wore that. |

Buy this Buy a mayflower CBun LBT > banshee Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile interesting I wondered what cummerbund options would be good for this. As a comment, this has the darker multicam as compared to my pig, and is also absent the usual velcro on top of the front. Though this can be resolved with an admin pouch or velcro panel. |

Any reason to pick this up over a banshee carrier? Anyone have any experience with this carrier? The best plate carrier is the USMC carrier. Flat out, bar none, crye included. I dunno. Looks a lot like my LBT 6094-RS plate carrier that I snagged on the last 50% off sale, except I can release my PC (or a Medic/Corpsman can do so) easily and quickly. I don't see that provision on the USMC plate carrier, but I am ignorant about these things. Perhaps it is there, and all the amazon/ebay vendors failed to mention it. http://lbtinc.com/vest-h-gear-carriers/plate-carriers/modular-large-sentinel-releasable-plate-carrier.html. Not a diss against the Corps, but even the USMC had to backtrack away from the ILBE and return to something almost identical to the the MOLLE II pack that is current issue to the Army, the FILBE, and which the Corps rejected in favor of the ILBE. A simple frame upgraded the MOLLE pack into armor-friendly status, while the internally-framed ILBE was incapable of such an upgrade. Unfortunately, the ILBE, while fine with soft armor was very unfriendly to plate armor. So thousands of ILBE packs were found UNSAT, and discarded/surplussed. Apparently some Marines were ordered to dis-assemble the packs, leading to a LOT of ILBEs being sold without critical components, such as top lids and waist belts. There are unsubstantiated rumors that some Marines were ordered to mutilate their discarded packs. If true, this amounts to a criminal waste of taxpayer dollars, since the packs were not left in-site and buried, but re-imported to the US. OTOH, all branches of the mil have been guilty of this sort of criminal waste of taxpayers dollars, most of this occurring because of transport costs from the war zone back home, and also from objections of mfrs of items in the US that would have to compete against surplussed items. |
