I recently ordered a D3 chest rig as well as the Down Range Gear fastex buckle kit. Last night I deployed the chest rig for 3+ HRS while on an inner perimeter and had everything I needed for long gun and med kit. Im really happy with the kit but lost patience waiting for a multicam D3 and ordered one in Mandrake which is a cool pattern. I dont mind that there different patterns and see myself using this for the near future. This replaced an Eagle M4 LE chest rig.

looks pretty damn good to me...having different patterens can help conceal better IMHO

Is that kryptek mandrake? Im assuming it is.

In other photos I've seen mandrake seems "greener" and not as compatible with multicam.

Thank you for the photo. Looks like those patterns match well.

It is mandrake. I think the colors look the same but maybe my artistic eye sucks. Either way, it works for me.

Depending on the particular cut location off the roll of Mandrake 500D, the coloration will vary

For example heres a NOMAD D3CR using an EGL PORKER (PC expansion kit) in NOMAD along with a MANDRAKE D3CR expansion pouch underneath the D3CR body

on a manny sporting Multicam

I don't use a cummerbund on the Banshee. Would it still be possible to attach the sides of the D3 to it well?

Ever since I put my carrier together I've been wondering if I shouldn't have gone slick with a chest rig. I may have to try something similar.
