I'm looking to have a kydex one made. The thing that bites about all the pouches I've used is the shock cord going over the top which makes changing channels a PITA. Also others have the buckle going over the PTT switch on the side causing it to hot-mike.

Anyway good luck, so far I havent found one I like.

I run my Motor 3000/5000 in a double Rifle Mag pouch. the kind that has the elastic wrap and velcro flip cover. I notched the top for the antenna and it works great. I find having to covered also cuts down on random bumps and switch flips.

I ended up ordering the Maxpedition. A few people have it at work and like it. It seems user friendly and adjustable. I dont use a shoulder mic so I need to be able to readily use the controls on the radio.
