I have a rush 24 (which i absolutely love) but i need a smaller pack that I can use on a day to day basis.

im a college kid so i would like something that i can bring on campus full of my books, computer, etc. But, i still want it to be able to take it for short hiking trips and when i go bow hunting as a gear bag.

obviously my 24 is over kill for these things.

I've been thinking about getting a rush 12 but I'm hesitant on forking out 90 bucks for it. It makes me want to spend an extra 20 bucks and get another 24.

Am i overlooking any small, economical, but durable packs?

Molle isn't a deal kicker but i do like it. Not looking for anything camo because i don't want to be 'that guy' on campus.

This bag will be a daily carry bag, that is the best way i can describe it. but it will still get used in the woods when i don't need my rush 24.

I have a 5.11 Rush 12 that was given out to all attendees of this years NTOA convention. I wouldn't have bought it because it's made in China and I refuse to buy stuff made off shore when there is an American made equivalent available. Now that I have that off my chest, back to your query....

I have larger, and smaller packs than the Rush 12 but find myself always going back to the 12 for every day carry. It's loaded with features that you love about your Rush 24 just in a less obtrusive/overwhelming size. I really like mine, just wish it were made here because I'd buy a couple of them.

Look at tactical tailor. I have a removable operator pack that hold a bunch of random things that I like to have around everyday. They also have larger style packs as well.

You should be able to get this:http://www.supplycaptain.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=621&ParentCat=66 for 15% off the vendor price, which is to sy, about $60 plus S+H.

A terriffic little pack, and it can easily be added-to. Top-notch construction; made by AITES. Search for my review, with pix. I dyed mine with Dk green Rit dye, for a greenish digital pattern. You can leave it in longer for a super dk green, or use black dye, if you like.

For the money, it is almost a no-brainer.
