Definitely "2-nd World" if you catch my drift. All of the pouches have open bottoms (not grommets.) The metal tabs on AK magazines would sometimes catch when you went to remove them. The side grenade pouches would loose small items out the bottom easily. Cool item for the collection. Probably better than whatever the Russians would issue one of their grunts

For that kind of money a Blackhawk Commando chest rig would be a better buy. The only real difference I see is that the mag pouches are a little longer. The Russians make some pretty cool-looking gear, but their construction has always been a little spotty. My old Vitiaz LBV was a testament to that.
You can get a BH rig for around $100. |

Thanks for the reply guys, its a neat rig and one of the only ones I could find designated for the AK. I have the US Palm Attack rack but was thinking about something different for a change up. I may have to stick to the attack rack. They are about the same price.
