I'm switching over to a JP LRP-07 for competition and need to find some mag pouches for the 7.62 PMAGs. Would prefer Multicam and I've been looking at the Esstac KYWI and the HSGI TACO but these are both out of stock when I look for them. The only one in multicam that I found in stock is the Esstac KYWI shorties at SKD. Are these pretty good and do they have good retention on the mags? Any other suggestions?

I'd go with the taco's since they are so versatile. You might try ordering straight from HSGI, I've had pretty good luck dealing directly with them.

If you are in a pinch, shoot me a pm and I'll let you borrow a couple of MC ones. I think we've met a time or two at the Ashland Gun Club.

was over on the spec ops brand
and they have a 7.62 mag pouch

also I have the x-4 and can throw two in them easily or 3 if you want to pack it

but my feeling is 3 is too much weight to have in one pouch on a vest

go x-4
very well made in the usa and nice practical pouch for other gear
