SAW pouch with padding might be your best bet. Get an old puss pad and cut out what you need to line the SAW Pouch.

I think they might also fit in the canteen/misc pouches.
I equate GD as the Westboro Baptist Church of arfcom: fun to mess with on occasion, full of ignorant bastards, and they always try to turn a good thing into something bad.

Canteen pouch converts by attaching the flap to the strap.

AITES use to make a PVS-7 pouch, it was a bit bulky though.
In the real world off-campus, good marksmanship trumps good will.

I am pretty sure AITES no longer is in business or sold out to another company but Supply Capt still list having them in stock.

The PVS-14 pouch they list is a good all around padded case so small optics, binos, etc
In the real world off-campus, good marksmanship trumps good will.
