This is a technical forum intended for discussion of tactical gear. It is NOT a venue for endless pissing matches about whether John Willis/OSOE(or any other individual or company) is a great guy or a thief. There's a feedback thread here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_109/929579_John_Willis__OSOE.html where you can discuss John's ethics as much as you'd like or, if you feel the need to have a whole new discussion about it, there's a perfect place for it here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/f_1/5_General_Discussion.html. It's understood that you can't(and shouldn't) completely cut out such discussion, even in a techincal forum, but this is not the place for lengthy arguments about it.

Please feel free to discuss John Willis' gear as much as you like, but do so with the understanding that this is a forum intended for the discussion of tactical gear and not intended for a bunch of fucking purse swinging and fanboys vs. haters bullshit. Threads that can't stay on topic will be moved to more appropriate subforums or removed completely and members who can't conduct themselves appropriately in here will be sanctioned.

It's acceptable here too, within reasonable limits, and I said as much in my post. There's even a link to his negative feedback thread where he's been "outed" in this tacked thread at the top of the gear forum. What's not acceptable are threads with multiple pages of arguing over whether someone's present business practices outweigh his past failures or attacks on the credibility of members who support or denounce some other member's gear guru.

Feel free to read my posts in the feedback thread I linked or do some research in the archieves if you think I'm some Willis partisan who's trying to shield him from criticism. I'm pretty sure that after the lawsuit threats and such, John Willis and I are never going to be homeboys.

Good move, Joker and I appreciate your objectivity regardless of your personal opinions on OSOE and John Willis. I value this forum very much for the information it provides. Regardless of who makes it, if it is something I need or may want - I come here first to learn about it.

Although his Facebook posts about airsofters and "mall ninjas" do seem to get a lot of people stirred up, that's not the polarizing issue that people are typically disrupting threads to discuss in here.

You won't be disappointed.
