Ugly ass basketweave holster to wrapped in Woodland. First wrap job not too bad. The 6360 has a lot of complicated curves. We will see how it holds up, few places where I just couldn’t make it stick due to the stiffness of 1000d cordura and the shape of the holster. Edges are solidly bonded.

I’m going to try and find a ratty 6280 for a Glock to try next.

It’s just 3m Super 77 and 1000d cordura. Super 77 was really easy to work with.

I'm at a loss trying to figure out Safariland.

If I buy a MOLLE holster that I want to use on a PALS belt, do I have to get a paddle or standard belt mount holster, then buy adapters. If so, what adapters?

Either their website stinks, or my skills and patience stink.

Same difference. It'll kinda depend on the belt. Most people use the normal UBL hanger and just run the belt through it:

(not my pic)

If your belt allows for that, it's what I'd go with. If not, or if you prefer to attach it to the webbing directly, then what you'd want is the 6004-15 Molle Locking System and either screw your holster directly to it or use the QLS System (personally recommended, it's handy even if you're not changing platforms).

And yeah, their website sucks.

Appears so. I've never seen that used though and it looks significantly more floppy, which is the opposite of what you want with a holster.

I'm for real done with my belt this time. Seriously... well... except for maybe a thigh strap if the holster starts floppin' around while I'm LARPing to a Costa Magpul video.

I got to run run the belt, PC and helmet two nights ago for a night shoot. Everything was buttoned down, exactly where I wanted it and nothing from the plate carrier interfered with the belt (and vise versa). I will note that wearing your gear around the house pays off huge when running around the woods in the dark. Mag changes were second nature. Empty mags to dump pouch? No problem. My re-holstering could still use some work though.

Changes since last pic dump... Added a Blue Force Gear "The Hammock" under the Micro Trauma Kit NOW!

The Safariland plastic is bombproof, as are their prongs. You're not going to break a Safariland attachment system.

That MOLLE is more likely to sag on a belt system (resulting in a sloppy and fouled draw) and your more likely to tear the stitching of MOLLE webbing than break a QLS fork or a Safariland mount.

Safarilands, with their plastic mounts, are used by guys who climb ships, rope out of helicopters, jump out of planes, etc... Without issue.

I mean, you could break a safariland.....if you subject it to well north of the 140lbs they're designed to break away at for user safety.

Seriously, if any of you have actually managed to break a Safariland short of intentional destructive testing I'd love to know how.

Dump pouch - EE
The Hammock - LegitKit on eBay. I have purchased multiple items from that seller (has 50K+ positive feedback) and they are GTG.

Even though I have too with M&P mags, I’d want the gap there regardless to make the draw easier.

If it hasn’t already been explicitly stated, WTF straps should be avoided as an attachment method on micro molle/pals belts. I now have some malice clips en route.

They're too floppy to be used when partially unsupported. Most belts have that half-MOLLE webbing which leaves some of the connector not supported by webbing on both sides, see the picture above. WTF straps will bend and allow the pouch to flop around a bit.

For belt use I highly recommend MALICE clips instead as they are a lot stiffer. The original MALICE clips even more so than the fight light ones.

When WTF straps are fully supported by webbing on both sides, such as on plate carriers or chest rigs, they work great.

I had mine set up that way for about two days. Shot one match with the WTF straps and the pouches started wiggling loose. I swapped them out for OneWrap and it’s rock solid.

Put this together for range, HD, & SHTF type use.  Yes, that’s a lot of MOLLE I’m fat and working on it...hopefully I’ll be buying a smaller belt later this year.

Still need:
- Medical for the first aid kit
- Flashlight for the HSGI Duty Taco
- Multitool
- Dump pouch
- Carabiner & gloves

It’s not that complex. Measure 3x the width of the belt, correctly orient the hook/loop sides, fold, profit.

@PFran42, maybe you already know this, but ITW does make two versions of the FastMag. You're running the molle version, which seems to work fine, but just know that the belt version has a rectangular piece that aids in interfacing with belts of various sizes. My guess is you could track down this piece through ITW directly.

It looks like the knife and pistol handles would interfere with each other when the belt is laying flat, but they separate when wearing.

I need to lose a pistol mag as 31rds of 10mm is plenty for a back up. The rearmost rifle mag might move over to the right side. Not completely sold on knife location, but it's the best compromise I've found so far.

Rifle mags, TQ (with either hand), and pistol ease of access are my priorities in that order. Everything else has to be a compromise.
