Does anyone make a mag fed pump action? I've seen the conversion for the 870 I think. That looks really clunky, but I've never used one.

I would love to see a well thought out pump action magazine fed shotgun.. The valtro pm5 was a good one.

I can find fault in the Black aces shotgun, in that they used Saiga magazines but did not locate the magazine in the same relation to the bore, They did this to keep the action bars the same.

I think the magazines to use for a pump action would be those from a MKA-1919 since they are made for this type of action. They are narrow to fit between action bars.

Another great option would be if someone like Kalashnikov USA made a pump only version of their saiga-12 clone. It would have an advantage of being able to run any shells that fit in the magazine without needing to have a certain gas setting.

It's hard to see the functional allure of a big mag sticking out of the bottom that can't be topped off, on a pump action.

There are a few advantages and disadvantages.. You can fully load and unload faster, but you can't top off.. The magazines are easy to swap with gloves, reloading a tube magazine with gloves often results in a glove getting stuck.

It greatly depends on the use of the firearm.
