A Remington 3 shot extension will be flush because it has the bayonet mount that extends to make it flush.

Doesn't the fact that it's a rifle sight barrel (fixed IC choke) mean it'll be shorter?
Doing some googling I found this pic from @ServiceGun 
I want to end up flush, not the mag tube protruding like that, if possible. |

A Remington 3 shot extension will be flush because it has the bayonet mount that extends to make it flush. That's a pic of my 870 with a 20" barrel and factory Remington +3 extension. The reduced diameter end does stick out, originally intended to be a bayonet mount.

I'd like to see what a Nordic +3 looks like on a 20" barrel. If it's flush I'll probably pick one up to replace my Choate
